Earth Day Celebration

The Earth Day was celebrated on the 22nd April,2019 by the students of Emerald House in Springfield School. It was celebrated to create awareness about protecting our planet and preserving the environment. Saving water, reducing pollution, protecting the wildlife, plants and trees, recycling of waste are just a few means of saving our environment. The songs were sung and the dances were performed which filled our heart with the feeling of love for our mother earth. The tiny tots collectively participated in doing the beautiful craft work based on the Earth Day and the students of the school were involved in speaking slogans like ‘Save Earth and Go Green’.

Investiture Ceremony

The Investiture Ceremony at Springfield School for the academic year 2019-2020 was held on the 27th April in the school assembly. Harsh Jain was bestowed as the Head Boy and Prajna Yadav was selected as the Head Girl. The House Captain, the Sports Captain, the Discipline Captains and all the Prefects were the other members of the Student Council. The Students Council was given sashes and badges. The ceremony concluded with the National Anthem. It was a memorable day for Springfield School.

Celebration of Mother’s Day

Mother’s Day is a special day of the year, dedicated to all mothers. It is celebrated all over the world as a mother holds a special place in the hearts of the children. The students of Sapphire house were given an opportunity to show their appreciation for their mothers. The songs and the dances performed by the students filled us with the feeling of love and emotions.

Celebration of 31st Foundation Day

The foundation day at Springfield School was celebrated on the 8th July, 2019 with great enthusiasm, fun and frolic. The school was established on the 8th July in the year 1988. The founder Principal of the school was Ms. Sheela Rose. The function started with a speech given by the Principal of the school Mr. Keith Rose. The senior most teacher of the school Ms. G.D. Varshney was honoured and felicitated. A song and dance was performed by the students. The celebration ended with students promising to live up to the school motto “Excellence with honour”.

Kargil Vijay Diwas Celebration

The Kargil Vijay Diwas was celebrated on the 26th July,2019 by the students of Topaz House to commemorate India’s victory in the Kargil conflict with Pakistan. The songs were sung and the dances were performed by the students which filled us with patriotic fervour.

Founder’s Day Celebration

On the auspicious occasion of Founder’s Day, several activities were organised for the children of different classes like Dance party for Pre-Primary, Birthday card making for Stds. I to III, Picture Display (Human Chain) for Stds. IV to VI, Singing Competition for Stds.VI to VIII and the most delicious one “Cook without fire” for Stds. IX to XII. The students were full of enthusiasm and everyone participated in the activities with great joy in the sweet memory of our dear Arun Sir.
