Inter-House Basketball Competition

Springfield School organised the Inter House Basketball tournament on knockout basis in both boys and girls categories from 8th October to 13th October 2018.

In the boys group Emerald House bagged the first place. Gold House and Blue House became the first runner-up and second runner-up respectively. Tushar Katara of Green House was declared as the best player.

In the girls category, the thrilling finals was between the Garnet House and the Emerald House. It was the Garnet House who put up a spectacular show to be the winners of the competition. Green House stood second and the third place was taken by the Blue House.

Janhvi Bhagwani of the Red House was awarded the title of the best player.

Mr. Man Singh of Neerja Modi School was the Chief Guest. He was accompanied by Mr. Vikas Tyagi who was a National Basketball player. Both the guests praised our teams and encouraged them to work hard.

Inter-House Debate Competition

An Inter-House Debate Competition was held for the students of Stds.IX-XII on the 1st October, 2018 to encourage the students to express themselves on a given topic and to confidently prove their point. The topics of the debate were ‘If you want Peace Prepare for War’ and ‘Demonetization’.

In the English-Debate Category, Viraj Sharma of Std.X-B of Topaz House won the 1st Prize and Prajjwal Yadav of Std. IX-B of Sapphire House won the 2nd Prize.

In the Hindi-Debate Category, Harsh Jain of Std. XI-B of Topaz House bagged the 1st Prize and Hemant Dangi of Std.XI-B of Garnet House bagged the 2nd Prize.
