Diwali Celebration

The Diwali Celebration at Springfield School began with an Inter-House Rangoli making competition on the 2nd Nov, 2018 in which Emerald House won the first position. On the 3rd November, 2018 Instrumental Music, Singing and Dance Competition were held with Diwali as the theme. The students performed to some foot-tapping numbers enthralling the audience.
In the Instrumental Music Competition, Nitesh Singh of Std. IX-B won the 1st position while Rishabh Sharma of Std.X-B and Aayush Kumar of Std. X-B won the 2nd and 3rd positions respectively. In the Dance Competition, Mamta Ishwar Singhani of Std. XII-B won the 1st prize, Sejal Kumari of Std. XII-A won the 2nd prize and Anshul Agarwal of Std. XI-B won the 3rd prize.
In the Singing Competition, Kanishak Sharma of Std. X-B bagged the 1st position, Prakriti Gandharv of Std.IX-A bagged the 2nd position and Manya Jain of Std.XII-B bagged the 3rd position.









Children's Day Celebration
To mark the birth anniversary of Pt. Jawaharlal Nehru, Children’s Day was celebrated on the 14th November, 2018 with much enthusiasm.
A beautiful rendition of the song ‘Who Am I’ was sung by the Western Music Team, instilling a sense of confidence in the children to believe in themselves. A dance performance to the songs ‘Bum Bum Bole and Chanda Chamke’ was presented, followed by the song ‘Kar har maidan fateh’ along with a mine-cum-dance performance by the Indian music team.
Instrumental performances were rendered by the Junior and Senior western music bands to the songs ‘El Condo Pasa and Despacito’ respectively.
At the end, the Principal, Mr. Keith Rose, gave away the all rounder trophies to the toppers for the academic session 2017-18.



Christmas Celebration
Christmas was celebrated by the students and staff with festival fervour. The Western Music Team and the Teacher’s Choir sang a number of carols. A choreography to the song ‘Feliz Navidad’ reflected the spirit of Christmas. The students were thrilled to receive sweets from Santa Claus. It was a fun way to ring in the winter-break and the New Year.





Annual Sports Day Celebration
The Annual Sports Meet was held on the 21st December, 2018. The programme began with the Principal, Mr. Keith Rose, welcoming the students and the parents and emphasizing the importance of sports in a child’s life. The Chief Guest, Mr. Surjit Kumar, an Olympian, Ex- Chief coach of Rajasthan Hockey Academy and Station Manager in Air India hoisted the School Flag, declaring the meet open. The students performed a colourful dance, an energetic drill and a presentation of Yoga postures. Once the races began, the stadium was filled with the sounds of cheering and applause as the athletes were encouraged by their respective houses.
The Best Athlete Trophy (boys) was bagged by Devashish Upadhyay of Std.XII-A and the Best Athlete Trophy (girls) was bagged by Rashi Sharma of Std.XII-A. The overall Champion Trophy was awarded to the Emerald House.









Bidding Farewell
On the 26th January, 2019 Springfield School bid farewell to its outgoing students. It was a nostalgic moment for both the students of Std.XII and the teachers as the student representatives of each stream, fondly reminisced their experiences in the school. The students were given a moments to remember their school days.
Mamta Singhani of Std.XII – B and Sanyam Lodha of Std. XII – A were voted Miss Springfield and Mr. Springfield respectively by the teachers. Later in the day, the students and staff conversed with each other over tea and snacks.
