Singing Competition for Stds. IV – V
Singing Competition
Music has a direct impact in helping the children to develop language skills. It is a vital source of gaining and reproducing knowledge.
Keeping this in mind, a well organised singing competition was held for the students of Stds. IV & V on the 18th July, 2018 in Springfield School. The students participated with a lot of enthusiasm, energy and fervour in the English and Hindi solo categories. The liveliness and the energy of the students were really worth appreciating.
The prizes were given away to the winners by the appointed judges while the rest of the participants received tokens of appreciation.

Poetry Recitation Competition
To develop reading and memorizing skills, a poetry recitation competition was held at Springfield School on the 10th August, 2018 for the students of Stds. I, II and III. The little ones recited wonderful and meaningful poems with clarity, expression and voice modulation. It was an excellent platform for the students to build confidence.

Dance Competition
The students of Stds. III to V participated in a Dance Competition organised by Springfield School on the 24th July, 2018.
The competition provided the perfect platform for students to display their talents. The students livened up the atmosphere with their well-choreographed dance sequences and provided thorough entertainment with their graceful and energetic performances.
Kavya Deshbandhu bagged the first prize, Arnav Dixit won the second prize and Dhriti Gupta received the third prize. All the young participants were rewarded for their performances.
Singing Competition
Music aids in language development. It lifts your spirit and lightens your mood. It builds self-confidence and helps to improve communication skills. Keeping this in mind, Springfield School gave an opportunity to the students of Stds. VI to VIII who are passionate about singing to display their talent by organising a Singing Competition on the 25th August, 2018. The students participated very enthusiastically in the English and Hindi solo categories. The liveliness and energy of the students were really worth praising. The prizes were given away to the winners by the appointed judges while the rest of the participants received a token of appreciation. In the English solo category, Freya Sharma of Std. VII-A won the first prize, Vanshika Gupta of VII-B bagged the second prize and Rupali Kumawat of VIII-A stood third. In the Hindi Solo category, Darshit Agarwal of Std. VII-C secured the first position, Sarika Bansal of Std. VI-B stood second and the third position went to Chitranshi Agarwal of Std. VII-C.
